About the nibs: The nib of this pen can be removed (indeed, you may wish to do this periodically to clean your nib and ink feeder if you do not use it often as ink may dry and impede the smoothness of flow) and replaced. Note also that the paper you use can make a big difference in your writing with a fountain pen - some papers are more suited to fountain pens than others.
