Handcrafted from woods that are local to New Jersey, which hold a stainless steel knife blade that is useful for cheeses hard or soft.   Note that the blade on this knife is not very sharp though it has a slightly serrated edge .  Its double spike tip allows for serving pieces of cheese similarly to a serving fork.

I hand wash my cheese knife and, from time to time rub some mineral oil (inexpensively available from your local pharmacy or drugstore) on the wood to keep it looking new.
