Finally!!  A hardy centaurea!  Known for their distinctive foliage, Centaurea have long been considered annuals.  This beauty has attention grabbing silvery-white leaves with wavy edges. Its mounding habit makes it Ideal for mixed containers and garden borders  and is hardy to zone 6!  Not a terribly long-lived perennial – Keep it in well-drained soil and full sun to get the most bang for your buck.  I may just have to keep all of these for myself - .. Oh … she will throw out a few yellow flowers typical to the genus (but shhh … you will find me snipping them off because they aren’t in my color pallet, and I LOVE just the foliage!!)  It’s a Retailers Choice Award winner.
