Just can't get enough cheese? Perfect! a cheese planer/ slicer delivers thin slices of your hard cheese perfect for sandwich, or ham(cheese)burger or as portion control for your ravenous children.
The blade is made of stainless steel and the handle from locally sourced hardwoods, which have a food safe oil and beeswax finish.
This product is comfortable to use after which, I hand-wash the blade and dry the handle. When the wood starts looking dull, wiping some mineral oil (easily and economically available from drugstores, Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Target, etc.) will keep it looking new and comfortable to hold.

These round cutting boards are ideally suited for cheese and crackers while being versatile and extremely handy for other uses.
On one side the board features a channel around the outer rim which can catch the juices of either a small piece of meat, juicy vegetables or fruit while being shallow enough to be easy to clean and maintain.
On the other side the board is plain and can be used as a general kitchen board for chopping and slicing. The boards are made from solid, kiln dried Maple, Cherry and/or Walnut hardwoods.
With good color and grain, the boards can be used as an elegant serving platters on either side.
Dimensions are 5.5 in/ 14 cm diameter x 3/4 in/ 2 cm thick
After some use, if your board starts to look a bit rough and dry, give it a rub with butcher block oil or food safe mineral oil in order to bring back its color and luster. It is best if you do not submerge in water.
