This charming iris relative is an intergeneric cross between Belamcanda chinensis and Pardanthopsis dichotoma, and is often called the candy lily. The Skittles of the flower world, these beauties offer a rainbow of bright colors with a variety of patterns and freckles on 2 to 3 foot plants
Pardancanda prefers well drained sandy loam and full sun, but tolerates any average soil and part shade. Tough as nails, these delicate beauties are unfazed by heat and drought and are hardy to zone 5. They bloom profusely from July to August and will self seed where happy.
Because this is a seed strain, there will be variation in height and colors. Seeds were collected from the dwarf "Dazzler" strain so they are likely to be on the shorter side closer to 2 feet. You will love these uncommon floral treats - Plant the rainbow!
